bi-weekly holy eucharist

Monthly Holy Eucharist

Picture
We celebrate an informal, contemplative, Celtic Service of Holy Eucharist (Communion) every FIRST Sunday of each Month at 9:00 am at the Center for Art & Spirit at St. George in West Asheville, NC.

The celebration of Holy Eucharist is the central and primary act of prayer and worship of our community.  Like the prayers for Morning and Evening Offices, the order and prayers for Holy Eucharist are adapted from The Lindifarne Community  and other traditional and contemporary Celtic Christian communities.  Our liturgy for Communion at New Seeds Priory incorporates prayers and wisdom readings from other faith traditions as well.

The service is inclusive and welcoming of anyone and everyone who wishes to participate, regardless of tradition, faith, or non-faith.  (Seriously!, the gifts at God's table are offered freely to everyone!)
